The 2026 True Women Drill Team

The dynamic ladies of the True Women Drill Team are thrilled to return to the arena for the 2026 Guadalupe County Fair and PRCA Rodeo with their high-octane energy! Founded in 2002 and proudly named after the acclaimed novel True Women by Seguin native Janice Woods Windle, the team rides to honor the fierce spirit, courage, and perseverance of the pioneer women who settled South Central Texas.

More than just a performance team, the True Women share an unwavering bond of camaraderie and a deep, lifelong love of horses. Beyond the rodeo arena, you can find them volunteering their time and their equine partners for community service projects, youth educational programs, and local military family support initiatives.

High-Speed Precision, Heart, and Heritage

Each night of the PRCA rodeo, the True Women will kick off the action with a breathtaking, patriotic flag presentation honoring our country, followed by their signature high-speed, synchronized precision drill. It is a stunning display of horsemanship, teamwork, and hometown pride you won't want to miss!
