"Swing into Action" with Mark Swingler

Professional rodeo clown and barrelman Mark Swingler has one goal on his mind when entering a rodeo arena. That goal is to make sure rodeo fans get their money's worth. With his ability to involve crowds with outrageous acts and create an atmosphere of family fun, he is very successful at reaching his goal.

Swingler, an Austin native and Southwest Texas State University alumnus, has been entertaining fans for the past fifteen years. His variey of props including a 1927 Model "T" and off-the-cuff wit has kept crowds rolling in their seats across the nation. His YMCA routine has been featured in the opening ceremonies of the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo and has been nominated six times as PRCA Comedy Act of the Year. He will be featured at the 2009 Dodge National Circuit Finals Rodeo. He has been nominated three times as PRCA Clown of the Year which ranks him one of the top five entertainers in the country.

His impromptu barrel routines have pleased crowds of the young and the young at heart. His natural ability to entertain has earned him appearances at two Dodge National Circuit Finals Rodeos in Pocatello, ID; the ProRodeo Tour Playoff in Pallyup, WA; and eleven PRCA circuit finals. He enters his seventeenth year as a professional entertainer with the same dedication to the sport and ability to entertain fans as he started with.
