Downtown Scarecrow Contest

The Seguin Main Street Program and the Guadalupe County Fair Association are again sponsoring a Scarecrow Decorating Contest in downtown Seguin. The contest is open to all individuals and businesses in and around the downtown area. Scarecrows can be placed outside in front of a business or displayed in a business window visible to the street. Clubs or organizations wishing to sponsor a Scarecrow display will be provided a downtown location.

All scarecrows entered in the contest will be judged.

Scarecrows will be judged on Tuesday, October 5, 2010. Certificates for first, second and third place winners will be awarded.

CONTEST RULES:

1. Any business or individual can enter. Windows downtown can be used by a club or organization.
2. Fill out an entry form as attached. Or ...
3. Call Main Street at 401-2448.
4. Scarecrows can be anything you come up with. Use your imagination! Scarecrows must be visible from the street without going inside.
5. Judging will be held on Tuesday, October 5, 2010. Certificates will be awarded to the best three entrees.
